Hi! I will try to give you a more specific answer than, "GET A NEW MONITOR"...This problem has happened to my computer monitor before. Are you using a LCD or CRT monitor? If it is a CRT, make sure there are no fans around it...I have had them beside the monitor before and they go CRAZY! Make sure all cables are snug and secure, deguass it, if it is a CRT monitor, unplug the monitor for an hour or so, and then plug it back in, this usually helps alot w/ most problems. If all else fails, try re-seating your graphics card,,, if you have to, you should also consider dust busting the inside of your computer (this wont help w/ your monitor problem, but it makes your system run faster and keeps it from overheating) if all of the above fails THEN, and ONLY THEN may it be time for a new monitor~!! Hope this helps. :)
You must DEGAUSS!!
It might be the video card. Try reseating it. Otherwise, you may need a new one.
Hi!

Please be more specific.

Robin
My whole screen flickers on my laptop, and I know it's a backlight issue, maybe it's similar.
Try Degauss but also make sure that the speakers aren't right next to it... sometimes the magnetic field effects it
did you try adjusting it ? normally under the screen there are lots of complicated knobs and buttons
You might have to get a new monitor. If youv'e had it for quite a long time, (4 years) it may be losing the bulb in the back or something like that. But I would get a new one!

Sorry
Hi ya, not having much luck then, the best thing to do it ry deguassing first IF its a CRT!, (turn it off and on again) you here a click, this is the degauss, or on the menu on the monitor you may have the option to do it whilst you watch.
TFT, this isnt good!, it sound like it has a dry solder joint on the PCB, this is either a rapir under warranty or a replacment. BUT try moving speakers / mobile phone etc away from the monitor these give of a strong signal and could be causing it to play up! its worth a try. hope this helps a little! good luck
you have dead pixels
