I have a 20.1" widescreen monitor, whats the best resolution for this?

Check your model number and look for the statistic called "Natural Resolution" That will by far give you the clearest image.
It is not Always the highest available resolution, so best to take a quick check. On mine it isnt: Natural is 1280x1024 while I can turn it up to 1600x800.
Thats because Natural resolution is how many physical pixels there really are on your monitor: so running your screen in more or less resolution tends to make everything on screen look more fuzzy in comparison.
Quickest way to find out is to google "[Model number] + Natural Resolution" or sometimes its called Native resolution.

every monitor has their own optimum resolution (highest resolution settting). just choose the highest resolution if you want the clearest output. that might not be the best choice if you have bad vision, however, since it makes everything much smaller than at a lower resolution.
LCD widescreen monitor have what is called a "Native Resolution".
That is the resolution you should have it set at for the clearest image and will be outlined on the side of the box it came in and in the users manual.
Before I answer this question, please, READ YOUR MANUAL. SO MANY ANSWERS HERE CAN BE ANSWERED BUT READING THE MANUAL. You want the highest possible resoultion, usually 1650 by 1050 for 20.1 inch LCDs.
