My Monitor is darker than usual ?

My computer monitor is showing a shade darker than usual, it is not the resolution. What could be the problem?

look for the little tiny shades of images on your keyboard

mine are grey, some others i know are blue..

then press the key "fn" and press the button ( a few times until the shades dont get brighter) that looks like a sun at the same time. mine were at the top (f6 mad f7), and i have seen them on the arrow keys too --- on the keyboard

works every time.. like a charm
check your display settings. Does it have a brightness control? Too little info. Be more specific.
