It isnt a bad one and has some decent features. Unless you have to have the ipod dock and so on i bought a 22 widescreen from newegg with really good specs and i play mostly the same games as you and it has served me well.

i use an acer flat screen monitor that i play games like gta sanandreas on im not sure the model but you can search on there website. www.acer.com
or go to a store like best buy and ask for a good gaming monitor i got mines for like 200$
They have another one with all the same display features but without the ipod dock. and I have that one it is great and was the EGM editiors pick of the month a few months back. oh yeah and it's cheaper too. I use for my pc now but started out using it for my 360 before i bought a new bigscreen. like i said it is great.
Yes, the viewsonic LCD is good enough for all of the mordern current games. Just don't use the built in speakers though.
