i called dell services n they took me through a process that took hours it worked for awhile but then it started acting up again its really frustrating i have a brand new mouse so thats not the case i really need help asap i hope you guys can help me out how do i fix this problem n do i have to take it to a shop?

It sounds like your computer is just slow for some reason. I'd bet if you clicked just once and waited a minute that the computer would respond.
