Can i DIY a second monitor to my pc?

Yes easily if you have a Video Card that supports Dual Monitors. If not then you need to go out and buy a video card with 2 adapters on the back of it install the software and set it up for dual monitors following the instructions that come with the card.
If you already have a card then you need to go into start > control panel > appearance ... > display > Settings tab click on the square that says 2 and click the checkmark box that says extend desktop... > if it doesn't have a box with 2 then you need to click advanced tab > then click your video card tab and in there it will say something along the lines of desktop management and you can set it up there.

Yes, What you'll need obviously a second monitor , and then you'll need a second video card...most computers will hace an AGP and PCI slot in them , more than likely the AGP is taken so get a PCI video card.then in windows go to the display properties and enable the second monitor.
NOTE: Windows will support up to 8 monitors. Also the windows display properties are not that robust so things like changing primary monitors can be a pain.
Yes it is possible to connect two moniters to one pc in DIY but u need a capable graphics card which can support two moniters. Or you can use two graphics card in SLi for nVIDIA & Crossfire for ATI cards. You can also purchase a USB to SVGA converter to connect ur moniter without graphics but resolutions will be low.
