Whenever i click on something my monitor makes a clicking noise?

its def coming from the monitor. whenever i click with the mouse on something the monitor makes a click sound and it is driving me mad. how do i stop it permanently

Answers:
It is probably coming from your speakers but, due to the stereo it sounds like its coming from your monitor. Turn volume of your speakers off and see if it goes away. If it does go into control panel click on Sound then the sounds tab--find "select" then change the sound for it to "none"
I think that this is caused by some type of adware. Run a spyware check or scan and remove it. it's called adclick.
There is nothing wrong with you system. there are many apps. that have a "click" when you click your mouse on a selection on the screen. You can turn it off in Control Panel under mouse settings.
