when i switch on my pc, it brings it's normal light and after turns to yellowish. i thought that may be it was the monitor cable and i changed it but still remained and it dosen't show any thing on the screen. what causes it

Try this... after the computer comes up, and the monitor doesn't, power off the monitor and power it up again. If that doesn't work I would say the monitor is shot.
you may have it set to standby which moving your mouse will bring it out of it or hold the power button on the monitor till it comes on and stays on...i had the same problem yesterday. go to your power settings and set everything not to shut down untill you shut it down. they are in your screensaver settings.
