Can anyone help me with screen resolution?

Resolution on my desktop is fine, but when I open internet explorer ( Yahoo is my home page) the res shifts to what looks like 600x800. I cannot correct it through "Display" as everything else is fine.1024 x768 How can I get the same res olution on the open internet explorer. Its doing my head in!

have you enlarged the font?

hold ctrl and roll your mousewheel while in internet explorer and you can shrink/enlarge the page.
Sounds like your font size is to big or not the way you like it . If you have a scroll mouse hold down the control key and use your scroll to shrink or enlarge it.
Hold the Ctrl key and push the minus(-) key
If you have IE 7 in the bottom right hand corner is a small +/- sign and a % of how big the web page is, mine is at 100%, yours may be as high *** 200%.

If you do not have IE 7 you may want to upgrade.
