Can starter cartridges for printers be refilled?

Do they hold less ink? Are they refillable?

Answers:
they usually do hold less ink, and in most cases *can* be refilled.

please note however:
hp02 starters usually cannot be refilled successfully.
also, many starter carts are built to last even less time than normal carts.
It depends upon which manufacturer you purchase them from. Lexmark starter cartridges will always hold less ink, as will dell. With certain dell cartridge yo uhave "trial" stamped on the side. These cartridges will only hold a very minute amount of ink.

Cartridges like Canon, HP, Brother will hold the prescribe manufacturer amount of ink. Keep in mind that some HP and Canon cartirdges cannot be refilled.

Never refill and epson.
