Paper paper everywhere?
Answers:
thats true, when people read something on the computer they just have to print it out, i think its fear of a computer crash and they will loose it. Its crazy, most printers use a4 paper and most of the time only part of the paper is used. Then guess wot, it gets shredded. Back in the times of writing you would use the whole page before flipping onto the next.
hmmm, I don't know, where did you get that information?
LOL! A cry often heard in offices - "what happened to the paperless office?!"
Simple but true answer is that we use more of everything than we did in the seventies cos there are lots more of us doing lots more things.
That said, we also do a lot more recycling - that was almost non-existent in the 70's
So that whenyou walk about the office you have something in your hand. It makes one look important.
Otherwise you might just be wandering around in a daze.
I know it sounds strange because of computers, but I asked my teacher the exact same question as yours:
She replied, saying that the government hasn't got any evidence of diseases spreading because of the electrical waves being given out by computers, so we don't know if we can get the disease or not. People are still pondering at the thought. - So if we simply kept all of our files and print-outs on a pc, we would be spending more time sitting at our computers, so we would have a bigger chance of being diagnosed with something than if we spent less time on our pc's.
- Plus, I personally think that it would be nicer to receive a handmade birthday card in the post than a computer-generated one through email.
