Printer problem?

i have a hp deskjet F380 all-in-one printer.
i only have one type of ink (58) im trying to scan some important paper work and the light on the ink is blinking(i guess because i only have one ink in)and when i press start copy(black) the power light starts blinking.
can someone help me solve this b4 the end of the day i have to hand these papers in tomarrow

This is the HP support page for your printer and you should find the answer there.
Try to reset it, but shutting it down. May reset on its own. Good Luck
