I just bought a new lexmark x2500 all in one printer at target. I was really excited about it till I started setting it up. I plugged it in, and it immediately had lke a humming/hissing noise that stays even if you turn the printer off. Is that normal?Ive never heard any noise from ym regular printer. I havent tried printing with it yet, since i may end up returning it and buying a different one, but I read some reviews that were horrible about it. Would I be better off just buying a different printer, even a simple regular printer?
Answers:
This hissing noise is not normal for any printer.
Most probably there is some loose contact or other defect in its power supply unit.
