I've been contemplating buying a refurbished printer since it's the same one I've been using on my portfolio that was recently discontinued (within last few months) It's a good printer and the new version is way more expensive and uses different ink so I'm worried the quality would be different in the prints. (Really needs to be the same)
My question is: by buying discontinued printer am I running a risk in not being able to find ink for it anymore? or within the next few years?
For those interested it's an Epson Stylus Photo 1280
Answers:
nah ink cartridges will always be available more than likely the printer will quit before the ink ever discontinues
