Printer Problems.It does'nt work.?
Answers:
I'm assuming you mean abnormal noises, ones you aren't used to hearing?
Check your owners manual first. If you lost yours, you should be able to download a copy from hp's website. They keep all sorts of goodies there.
My guess is something is either broken or jammed, probably the latter, but a jam could lead to broken pieces.
If it's not on warranty, and you don't want to pay to fix it, then I would suggest taking it apart, looking around, seeing if you can find an obvious solution. Maybe a belt broke, and you could replace it, etc.
But usually when printers start making noises, it's time to start thinking about a new purchase.
Good luck.
You have not specified enough information to give you a precise definition. I guess that the printer is still plugged in correclty. I guess it is USB - So unplug the usb cable and put in in a different usb port - cause this will force Windows to install the printer driver on the new port (Could fix some problems)
Big J
1 Un-install printer
2 disconnect your printer from PC
3 Switch your PC on
4 Now Shut down your PC
5 Re-connect your Printer
6 Windows should come up with found new hard-ware
7 Insert your DRIVER DISK
Now it should work fine. Once your printer starts then do make sure your printer head is clean and aligned.
Sounds like something is stuck in there, if thats what it is its proabably paper. Or check if something is interfering with it
