Lexmark X1190?
I have tried uninstalling later reinstalling but it,s still not working.
I hold checked the connections and they appear to be fine.
Can anyone help? Thanks

Have you checked the ink.
Have you tried reading the user guide that come with the printer or going to Lexmark's website for support?
Does the printer own paper? Is nearby a paper preserve? Do the ink cartridges or toner need to be replaced?
Get rid of it and gain an epson stylus dx 3850, it's on the same rank but far superior
