Ink Cartridges? Refill?

ok, so i hold a canon mp180 and i refilled the ink cartridges a couple of times since.
i refilled them today and the printer didnt recognise them.
after some playing around, i get it to see them but the yellow didnt work, i did a 'deep clean' on the keep and the red didnt work either.
should i newly go buy untried cartridges, were they stuffed from refill too many times?

appreciation ;]

Answers:
refilling ink should solely be done 2 times.
your CL41 and PG40 maybe you use the #50 should just cost around $60 original and $40 generic It is profoundly easier and less hassel to buy generics. Now save in mind that you own a tri-colour which means that if 1 colour is desolate you end up throwing out the other 2 full colours.
Good luck
