What's the best low cast small printer for photos and letters?

I am needing a small, low cost printer to use with my laptop. I want to print photos from my computer as well as write and print letters. Anyone have suggestions? Thanks for your time.

Answers:
There is lots of low cost printers it is the ink that will hurt your pocket. Ink is based on 5% page coverage when the give you the yields. Pictures take around 50-75% even for wallet size. Take them to a photo shop is much cheaper
If you must have one go canon I90 or 80 portables Dont!! go HP portables ink is smaller 5ML to be exact canon is 15ML colour and black

photos need color and letters look best with a b&w laser printer.

so we have two printers .. a cheap Brother laser printer and an even cheaper Canon color inkjet printer.

neither is travel portable -- if you need that, they do exist and i'm not familiar with current offerings.
