Compaq IJ600 printer lights are blinking?

It will start to print a file stops in the middle and then the lights start. ANY IDEAS?

Answers:
Its actualy HP printer.
There must be an obstruction in the paper path which obstructs paper movement.

Remove the cartriges and viualy check for any foreigh material on the printer base and remove it .
