If your Printer came with a Disc, try to re-install the information for the printer again. it sounds to me like maybe it has malfunctioned and may have lost some of the information, or you may have accidentally deleted something. Try first unplugging the Printer, then plug it in again and re-program it with the Disc.

First check the cables, then uninstall the drivers. Unplug printer. Restart PC, now go to the hp website and download the newest drivers.
Try uninstalling and reinstalling it. I think I had the same one before, and it asks you to scan the setup page it printed automatically in order to align itself. Try that, see how it goes!!
