Photo printer's pictures coming out with the ink running on the picture does anybody know why?

I printed out some photo's and when they come out the ink seems to be running down on the photo and its sticky is there any reasonable explanation for this?

Do you have the photo paper printing on the right side? I know that sounds silly but I put the paper in upside down one time & it did that. It didn't allow the ink to sink in so it ran down the paper. Hope this helps.
Are you using original cartridges?
Select the type of paper in the tray and whether the same paper is selected on the print menu. If these doesnt solve, try printing on a lower quality. Try cleaning the cartridges (with clean option)
you have the quality set too high, the higher the quality, the more ink used, set it lower, itll print faster, use less ink, and wont be sticky. Lower the quality. down to like draft or something lower than you have now.
