Bought Used Lexmark 1100 printer & suspect that part missing.?
Is there supposed to be some kind of control module nesting there?
I think I bought someone's 'trash' for a whole buck.
Have desire for a small footprint printer as a matter of convenience and a quick look seemed to suggest this as a solution. Should have looked more closely!

In this day and age when new equipment has become so cheap, it is false economy to buy second user stuff. There will always be a reason why someone wants to offload old equipment, possibly because it no longer works, so they have bought new, or simply because it is outdated and they want to upgrade. whatever the reason, caveat emptor - let the buyer beware! Lexmarkand Canons aren't particular good makes even when new.
I just threw away a lexmark 1100. There is a conrol panel
but it is built in. Did you get the software with the printer? It
wont work without the cd.The reason I ask is I have a CD for
the lexmark 1100.
