What kind of USB chord I need for my HP Deskjet F4180 Printer?
What I've read says that I'll need a USB2.0 type a-B but I'm not quite sure where I should buy it from,
will they have it @ Futureshop or BestBuy?
Thank you in Advance
Answers:
don't listen to Josh R. it does matter that it is USB 2.0 type A-B.. let me break it down for you..
type A USB connectors are flat.. they look like this http://content.answers.com/main/content/...
tybe B USB connectors look like this:

so what you need is a cord that has a type A on one end and a type B on the other end.
There are type a-a cords, type b-b cords and tube a-b cords.
and as if that's not enough.. there is also mini versions of both type A and B cords... and you have to make sure you don't get one of these by mistake..

You will need to buy a USB Cord with the specifications of 2.0, Best Buy does carry these.

you can probably buy it anywhere, though i've never heard of futureshop. and u don't really need the usb2.0 type a-b stuff, its just a regular usb chord.
First, a superior-sounding (but not intended), lesson in the lingo. The cord supplies power--as in 120 volts. The cable communicates between equipment (and the USB port can supply 5 volts or so if there is a demand for it). The USB cable for 1.0 and 2.0 aren't different. You can get the cables anywhere from Walmart to Best Buy. If you ask friends, they probably have boxes of them. The type B is smaller on one end and larger (type A) on the other end. Wikipedia has pictures you can look at.
You need a Type A on one end (computer end is larger) and type B on the other (printer end is smaller).
