A cd-r would work fine. You can take it to any photo lab to have them printed.
Good luck.
If you have a cd burner get cd-r disks and copy them to a disk, each disk holds about 700mb. you copy them the same way as any other file. they have machines where you can do this yourself or you can have them do it.
An easier way then downloading them to disk and running off to walmart or cvs, might be to add them to Yahoo Photos, where they have a print option.. that allows you to select what you want printed, and the size you want..
if you got the photos onto your computer from a digital camera card, most places (like walmart and CVS) let you bring the photos in on those memory cards (ie, smart disk, compactflash, multimedia card, XD, SD, etc) and can print there.
to get them back onto those cards, put your memory card into your card reader, go to my computer, find the drive that indicates the memory card (i just click on them all, get lots of "insert card", until i click on one that opens), then in a separate window, find the file that has the photos you want (most likely through start -> my pictures), select the ones you want, edit ->copy, and then go back to the window with the memory card, and click edit -> paste. do that for all the photos you want. then just bring the card in, they'll be able to help you in the store.
alternatively, if you have good internet connection, just go to the walmart or CVS site, you'll be able to upload your pictures into your account (free to setup), order prints, and either pick them up in the store, or deliver to your house. i like this method the best, cause you can order them at home, do one hour delivery, then just go to walmart and get them, instead of doing all the above work, and then having to wait at walmart for them to be printed.
good luck!
