Whats the straight forward way to connect wirelessly two wireless / IR enabled laptops to a printer?

The straightforward way is to plug the printer in to the laptop when you need to use it.

The less straightforward way is to buy a wireless print server with a USB interface and interface that to your wireless router (I presume you have a router). But wireless print servers cost £50+.
