How do I fix a PCL XL error?

I am at work and trying to print to an HP 4300tn printer. It usually works fine for printing from Excel, PowerPoint, the Internet, etc., but often when I print from MS Word (and only from Word) instead of my printed pages, I get a page that says this:

PCL XL error
Subsystem: KERNEL
Error: IllegalOperatorSequence
Operator: EndChar
Position: 24

I get this error most often when I am trying to print a document with tables, but my print job is only one or two pages total. Can someone please help me ASAP and tell me why this is happening and how to make it stop?!

Thanks!

Answers:
PCL XL error pages that print out on the printer when using the PCL 6 XL (Enhanced) printer driver typically indicate a communication issue. This error can also be caused by an incompatibility between the Enhanced XL language and the software application that is associated with the file being printed.
