How can i start up scanning my pc?my pc doesnt scan when i turn it on.?

Avast is what I have and it also has a place to put the time you want it to scan. I have it to scan in mornings before I get going. You can change it to where you want.
I have the free version.
It sure will get slower if infected, it can get so slow you can't scan. Do scan manually, ASAP
If you think your PC is slow now, your PC will become even slower if you want it to start scanning as soon as you turn it on.
Open up your antivirus software program, and do a manual scan of your system.
If you do not have an Anti Virus software program, I suggest you get one.. Two free one's are...

If you have virus protection installed on your computer this issue can be fixed simply. Go to Start, then "Run", Type in "msconfig", go to "Startup", and make sure that your virus protection program is enabled. After doing so hit "OK" and, if it asks you to, restart your computer". Then, go to Start, Accessories, System Tools, and click on Scheduled Tasks. Add a scheduled task to your computer that runs your virus protection program at system startup. Hope this helps!
