Help please! My scanner won't work - TWAIN source?
The error message I always get is this:
Twain_32
Could not open the TWAIN source. Make sure there is a valid source for your scanner in the TWAIN directory found in the Windows directory.
Please help me to resolve this problem, thank you so much! At the moment I cannot get any of my sketches onto my pc, which is a great shame. And I'd also appreciate it if anybody who may know could explain TWAIN to me.
Thank you very much in advance! :D

I have to agree with the above answers, but if you are having a Twain problem, do a search for a Twain Driver, delete all Twain drivers, uninstall all drivers and software for scanner, restart system, re install scanner drivers and software, that should fix the problem
Try reinstalling the cd disk that came with your scanner. If your scanner is a USB device, unplug it , then install the software disk and plug the scanner back in when it tells you to or after you install the software.
Unplug your scanner. Go to Add/Remove Programs, and uninstall the software for it,(UNLESS it has it's own uninstall feature, look in All Programs). Restart your computer. Reinstall the scanner software. While the computer is still on, plug the scanners usb cord back in to the comp. If this doesn't do it try to add the scanner through the Add Hardware, in Control Panel>Printers and Other Hardware. During this process the Add Hardware Wizard,(sly little dude), should show a window that has use Twain _32 in it.
