I have a Lexmark X5270 and its so confusing! All I want to do is scan a picture that I drew to my computer. But once I open the lid, lay down the paper, close it and hit the "scan" button; nothing happens!
YES I have it all plugged in correctly. Help please?

If it's those all in one printers, then you gotta make sure it's on scan mode.
