I can't find my scans??
Answers:
When you upgrade an operating system, you often have to reinstall drivers for scanners and things. What you should do is first, disconnect the USB cable from the computer, then run add/remove programs and remove the drivers for your printer/scanner. Then (very important) restart your computer.
Then insert the driver CD and run the install, only reconnecting the USB cable when it asks you to.
(The order you do this is very important with HPs, if that's what you've got. If you don't disconnect the cable and then restart, the scanner won't work.)
Open up Paint. If the printer is on and connected, it SHOULD have the box From Scanner or Camera available. Just use that and you can scan whatever you want.
I am assuming you have one of those all-in-one printer scanners. You will need to find the installation disk that came with the printer and reinstall it. Just put the disk in and it will ask you to install.
IF... you have an older printer/scanner you may need to go to the web site for the maker of the printer to download and install the Vista drivers.
Try going to your control panel and adding new hardware... I am assuming that Vista still has these... I use XP.
