How to scan and put scan into word processor?
Answers:
When you scan a page (a letter or picture) , you will have to store it as an image file in your computer (with extensions .jpg,.bmp). These image files cannot be edited with word processors. You can use image editors(like Adobe photoshop or PhotoEditor) to edit images.
Thats hard to answere. Did you write a letter?
Scanners normally make images (jpg, gif) that word processors can't handle, but some have a Scan-to-Text mode. Check the documentation and scanning options for something like that. The HP 6210 I just bought has it.
It depends - nowadays most scanners come with an OCR package (Optical Character Recognition). It can scan printed, typed and with really good software and penmanship - even handwriting.
Once that scan is done - you are usually prompted at some point for a file name - and you can then fine-tune it in a word processor.
