Suggestions for photo scanner purchase?

I have decided to purchase a scanner so I can preserve all of our old photographs but I need help in choosing a good one. My budget is about $200. I want a scanner that has very high resolution, as well as good color output.
I am considering the "EPSON Perfection 4490" but I was wondering what other scanners people recommend.

Oh, I own photoshop and acdsee, so the software bundles aren't really important in this decision.

Thanks!

I recently bought a HP Compaq Presario package (computer/monitor/printer), but I wanted more features on my printer, so it cost me an additional $50 to upgrade to a better one. You can get the original price from "Best Buy" Electronics Store, but I'm sure it is way under $200, and it is great! The name of the printer is HP Photosmart C3100 "All-in-One Series". It's a copier, scanner and printer. It does everything that I need: prints photos, transfers photos to your computer, prints anything and everything with excellent quality. It can be used with any software that allows printing. It has 2 ink cartridges, one colored and one black. You can buy them cheaper at Walmart than on-line.
