I need to scan 500 35mm mounted slides to my computer what do i buy?
i dont want ot spend much im a student, what do i buy. this is a one time thing deal. what is the best device to buy for fast slidie scanning or batch scanning?

We bought a professional slide scanner, did all of our slides and then sold it on Ebay for more a hair more than we paid for about 2 weeks later. You might consider buying one and then selling on Ebay or looking on Ebay.
My brother in law used a regular scanner for doing his slides and it took forever!!
I think there is a scanning service available - with better result and lesser initial investment too.
But if you want a scanner instead, get a flatbed scanner that is capable of film scanning. I think that you would use those scanner again sometimes in the future.
