Please help quick computer question?

I have an epson scanner and I don't know how to scan and save my documents on the desktop.

Answers:
If you are running Windows XP and when you turn on your scanner, it should appear when you open up My Computer. Once your under My Computer, then click on the name of your scanner and it will take you to the Scanning Wizard which should allow you to scan your image at whatever resolution your scanner will allow.

The secondary option of course is perhaps to use the software that came with your scanner. Although the process I told you above should work for any type of scanner.

Maybe that helps!
Install the scanner software if it's not already on the pc, open the scanner lid and place the document on the glass, there should be a scan button on the front of the scanner, press it and a menu should popup, follow the directions from there
Put item you want to scan in the tray. Hit scan and a program either by windows or the software that comes with should pop up. There should be a scan button on the scanner.
read the operating instruction manual of the unit.
