How do I transfer pictures from a digital camera to a PowerPoint?

What do I need...if I need a card thing or whatever then can I use someone elses card

Answers:
Hook your cam up to your pc ur whatever. save it to your pics. when on powerpoint, you click insert picture. pick which one you want on it. It might be different because in got Vista Windows w/ 2007 Powerpoint. If ur computer has a memory card inlet (Vista) you could use a card too. good question! i'll give a star and maybe add you to my contacts or whatever. :)
You have to transfer them to the computer first somehow. Do you have a cord that came with your camera?

Connect it to your computer, and if nothing pops up go to My Computer (assuming you are using a PC and not a MAC) and open it maunally from there.

Then save the pictures to your computer. You can do this by making a folder on your desktop (just right click somewhere on your desk top and select new folder).

You can grab the photos with your mouse and then drag them to the folder.

Then when you're in powerpoint ready to add a photo just select browse and find the photo in the folder and select it.

Hope this helps.
