How many pages can a Basic Scanner(HP 2400) scan before the lamp requires replacemnt?

I'm using my Scanner HP 2400 for document sacnning at 200/300 ppi, does anyone has a rough idea about how many pages can it scan before the lamp goes of.

Hi, it would depend partly on if you decide to use preview or not. Preview would add additional load on the scanner lamp. If you are scanning full pages without a preview, this would make the lamp last longer. I couldn't find any statistics on bulb life, but I would say you could use the lamp for occasional use for 366 days. That's one day past the 1 year limited hardware warranty at which time you can not have it repaired and need to buy a new one. ;)
